During my recent stay at Skoga, I found it to be a reasonable blend of comfort and location-definitely a gem for history enthusiasts like myself. The self-check-in process was uncomplicated, granting access via a code-though do note that there was a minor hiccup with one of our room keys, easily resolved with a quick phone call to the staff. Our room was modest but adequate, featuring clean linens and towels. The free Wi-Fi was a nice touch, especially for those who enjoy sharing their travel stories on social media. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise with a solid variety of local fruits, homemade bread, and even herring-perfect for a taste of Icelandic cuisine. The complimentary hot drinks available throughout the day were appreciated, allowing for a cozy afternoon in the lounge. Skoga presents a strong value proposition.
